Day 1 — Arrival in Varanasi
Varanasi is where your journey begins. On arrival, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the day free to rest or explore at your own pace. One of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, Varanasi's ghats line the Ganga for kilometres, and the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat is one of India's most photographed rituals. Don't miss the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony.

Day 2 — Varanasi
Another day around Varanasi, with time for a sunrise boat ride along the ghats.

Day 3 — Varanasi to Bodh Gaya
After breakfast, drive on to Bodh Gaya. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Bodh Gaya is where the Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment under a Bodhi tree, and the Mahabodhi Temple complex that now stands here is one of Buddhism's most important pilgrimage sites. Don't miss monasteries built by different Buddhist nations.

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye — you'll be driven to Varanasi and transferred onward for your flight or journey home.
