Cancellation & Refund Policy

This page summarizes the cancellation and refund terms that apply to any tour or service booked with MR Bharat Holidays Pvt. Ltd. ("India Holiday Planner"). It forms part of, and should be read alongside, our full Terms & Conditions.
How to Cancel
Cancellations must be notified to us in writing, by email to info@mrbharatholidays.com. Cancellation charges are calculated from the date we receive that written notice — not the date you decide to cancel.

In addition to the slab above, a minimum 10% service charge applies to any cancellation made after a booking is confirmed. No refund is given for cancellations made during the peak season of 20 December to 15 January, regardless of reason.
Luxury & Heritage Train Journeys
Premium rail journeys carry a separate cancellation schedule: 15% of ticket value if cancelled 60 days or more before departure, 30% if cancelled 30–59 days before departure, and 100% if cancelled less than 30 days before departure. Some named premium rail products carry their own operator-specific policy, which we'll advise at the time of booking.
What Isn't Refundable
We do not refund unused hotel accommodation, chartered transport or meals once your trip is underway.
Refund Processing
Refunds for unused or cancelled services that were paid for in advance are calculated according to the schedule above and paid back to whoever made the original payment. Refunds typically take 2–4 weeks to process, due to standard banking timelines; where a refund is issued to a credit card or bank account, any bank charges are deducted from the refund amount.
