Day 1 — Arrival in Negombo
Negombo welcomes you on arrival. Our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel to check in and settle before you head out to explore. A short drive from Colombo's international airport, Negombo's long beach and fishing harbour make it a popular first or last stop on a Sri Lanka itinerary. Don't miss the fish market and fishing harbour.

Day 2 — Negombo
Today brings more time in Negombo -- Negombo Beach.

Day 3 — Negombo to Pinnawala
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Pinnawala, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Pinnawala's elephant sanctuary is one of Sri Lanka's best-known conservation projects, caring for orphaned and injured elephants since the 1970s. Don't miss the sanctuary grounds.

Another day around Pinnawala, with time for the elephant herd's river-bathing session.

Day 5 — Pinnawala to Kandy
This morning you'll transfer on to Kandy. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Sri Lanka's last royal capital, Kandy is built around a lake and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism's most important shrines, with tea country rising into the hills beyond it. Don't miss a cultural dance performance.

Day 7 — Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Nuwara Eliya, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Nicknamed 'Little England' for its colonial-era bungalows and cool climate, Nuwara Eliya sits at the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country, high in the central hills. Don't miss Gregory Lake.
