Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi
Delhi greets you on landing. After a smooth transfer to your hotel and check-in, take the rest of the day easy before sightseeing begins tomorrow. India's capital layers Mughal-era monuments, colonial-era boulevards and a fast-moving modern city into one sprawling metropolis. A day here moves between the walled lanes of Old Delhi and the wide avenues of New Delhi. Don't miss India Gate and the President's House.

There's more of Delhi to see today: a cycle-rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk.

Day 3 — Delhi to Agra
This morning you'll transfer on to Agra. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Agra's skyline is built around the Taj Mahal, the white-marble mausoleum Shah Jahan built for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, but the city's Mughal history runs deeper across its fort and tomb complexes. Don't miss sunrise or sunset at the Taj Mahal.

Day 5 — Agra to Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, drive on to Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Built by Akbar as his capital and abandoned within decades over water shortages, Fatehpur Sikri is a red-sandstone city frozen mid-story -- a UNESCO World Heritage Site usually visited en route between Jaipur and Agra. Don't miss Buland Darwaza, one of the world's tallest gateways.

Day 6 — Fatehpur Sikri to Jaipur
This morning you'll transfer on to Jaipur. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Rajasthan's capital is known for its rose-pink old city walls, its hilltop forts and a royal history that's still visible in its palaces and bazaars. Don't miss the bangle and textile markets of the old city.

Day 7 — Jaipur to Kishangarh
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Kishangarh, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. A small Rajasthan town between Ajmer and Pushkar, Kishangarh is known as the birthplace of the Bani Thani school of miniature painting and its own modest fort-palace. Don't miss Kishangarh's fort-palace.

Day 8 — Kishangarh to Pushkar
After breakfast, drive on to Pushkar. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. A small, holy town built around Pushkar Lake, said to have one of the few Brahma temples in the world, with ghats, temples and a lively bazaar wrapped around its water. Don't miss the ghats of Pushkar Lake.

Day 9 — Pushkar to Udaipur
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Udaipur, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Built around Lake Pichola with the Aravalli hills as a backdrop, Udaipur is Rajasthan's most romantic city -- white palaces, lakeside havelis and narrow bazaars stacked with miniature art. Don't miss Jagdish Temple and the old-city bazaars.

Day 10 — Udaipur to Ranakpur
After breakfast, drive on to Ranakpur. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Set in a quiet valley of the Aravallis, Ranakpur's Jain temple complex is famous for its forest of intricately carved marble pillars, no two exactly alike. Don't miss the drive through the Aravalli hills.

This is the final day of your trip. After breakfast, transfer on to Jodhpur for your onward departure.
