Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi
Delhi greets you on landing. After a smooth transfer to your hotel and check-in, take the rest of the day easy before sightseeing begins tomorrow. India's capital layers Mughal-era monuments, colonial-era boulevards and a fast-moving modern city into one sprawling metropolis. A day here moves between the walled lanes of Old Delhi and the wide avenues of New Delhi. Don't miss India Gate and the President's House.

Day 2 — Delhi
There's more of Delhi to see today: a cycle-rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk.

Day 3 — Delhi to Shimla
After breakfast, drive on to Shimla. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Once the summer capital of British India, Shimla still keeps its colonial-era Mall Road, Christ Church and the toy-train line climbing up from the plains through pine forest. Don't miss The Ridge and Mall Road.

Day 5 — Shimla to Manali
This morning you'll transfer on to Manali. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Manali sits at the head of the Kullu Valley on the Beas River, ringed by snow peaks, and is the usual base for day trips into the high passes and pine forests above it. Don't miss old Manali's cafés and riverside walks.

Another day around Manali, with time for an excursion toward Rohtang Pass (season-dependent).
