Day 1 — Arrival in Kochi (Cochin)
Kochi (Cochin) welcomes you on arrival. Our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel to check in and settle before you head out to explore. Centuries of Portuguese, Dutch and British trade left their mark on Kochi's old town -- Chinese fishing nets on the shore, a synagogue in Jew Town, and church spires beside spice warehouses. Don't miss the spice markets of Jew Town.

Day 2 — Kochi (Cochin)
Today brings more time in Kochi (Cochin) -- a Kathakali dance performance.

Day 3 — Kochi (Cochin) to Alleppey (Alappuzha)
After breakfast, drive on to Alleppey (Alappuzha). On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Alleppey is the heart of Kerala's backwater country -- a maze of canals, paddy fields and coconut groves best explored aboard a traditional Kettuvallam houseboat, drifting past villages that live on the water's edge. Day 4 — Alleppey (Alappuzha) to Kumarakom
This morning you'll transfer on to Kumarakom. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. A quieter backwater base than Alleppey, Kumarakom sits on Vembanad Lake with a bird sanctuary, mangrove-lined canals and houseboat moorings of its own. Don't miss a Vembanad Lake cruise.

Day 5 — Kumarakom to Marari Beach (Mararikulam)
After breakfast, drive on to Marari Beach (Mararikulam). On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. A quiet stretch of coast south of Kochi, Marari's beach still doubles as a working fishing village, with palm groves and a slower pace than Kerala's better-known resort beaches. Don't miss coconut-grove walks along the coast.

Day 6 — Kochi (Cochin) · Departure
This is the final day of your trip. After breakfast, transfer on to Kochi (Cochin) for your onward departure.
