Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi
Delhi greets you on landing. After a smooth transfer to your hotel and check-in, take the rest of the day easy before sightseeing begins tomorrow. India's capital layers Mughal-era monuments, colonial-era boulevards and a fast-moving modern city into one sprawling metropolis. A day here moves between the walled lanes of Old Delhi and the wide avenues of New Delhi. Don't miss India Gate and the President's House.

Day 2 — Delhi
There's more of Delhi to see today: a cycle-rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk.

Day 3 — Delhi to Srinagar
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Srinagar, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Built around Dal Lake, Srinagar is best known for its houseboats and shikara boat rides, its Mughal-era terraced gardens, and the old city's wooden mosques. Don't miss a shikara ride on Dal Lake.

Another day around Srinagar, with time for the Mughal Gardens (Shalimar, Nishat).

Day 5 — Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Gulmarg, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. A high meadow ringed by pine forest and, beyond it, the Pir Panjal peaks, Gulmarg is Kashmir's best-known hill resort and the site of one of the world's highest cable cars. Don't miss the meadow and golf course.

Today brings more time in Gulmarg -- views toward Nanga Parbat on clear days.

Your tour comes to an end today. After breakfast, you'll be driven to Sonmarg, with a stop or two along the way as the route allows, in time for your onward flight or journey home.
