Detailed Itinerary

1. Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi

   Delhi greets you on landing. After a smooth transfer to your hotel and check-in, take the rest of the day easy before sightseeing begins tomorrow. India's capital layers Mughal-era monuments, colonial-era boulevards and a fast-moving modern city into one sprawling metropolis. A day here moves between the walled lanes of Old Delhi and the wide avenues of New Delhi. Don't miss India Gate and the President's House.

2. Day 2 — Delhi

   There's more of Delhi to see today: a cycle-rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk.

3. Day 3 — Delhi to Agra

   This morning you'll transfer on to Agra. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Agra's skyline is built around the Taj Mahal, the white-marble mausoleum Shah Jahan built for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, but the city's Mughal history runs deeper across its fort and tomb complexes. Don't miss sunrise or sunset at the Taj Mahal.

4. Day 4 — Agra

   Today brings more time in Agra -- Itmad-ud-Daulah, the 'Baby Taj'.

5. Day 5 — Agra to Bharatpur

   This morning you'll transfer on to Bharatpur. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Spend the day taking in Bharatpur at an easy, unhurried pace.

6. Day 6 — Bharatpur

   This day in Bharatpur is left free, so you can go back to whatever you enjoyed most, shop, or just take it easy.

7. Day 7 — Bharatpur to Ranthambore

   After breakfast, you'll be driven to Ranthambore, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. One of India's best-known tiger reserves, Ranthambore's dry deciduous forest is scattered with the ruins of a 10th-century fort, giving safari sightings an unusually dramatic backdrop. Don't miss birdlife around Padam Talao lake.

8. Day 8 — Ranthambore to Jaipur

   After breakfast, drive on to Jaipur. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Rajasthan's capital is known for its rose-pink old city walls, its hilltop forts and a royal history that's still visible in its palaces and bazaars. Don't miss Hawa Mahal's honeycomb facade.

9. Day 9 — Jaipur to Khimsar

   After breakfast, drive on to Khimsar. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Spend the day taking in Khimsar at an easy, unhurried pace.

10. Day 10 — Khimsar to Jaisalmer

    After breakfast, you'll be driven to Jaisalmer, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Rising out of the Thar Desert in honey-coloured sandstone, Jaisalmer is built around a living fort -- homes, shops and temples still occupy Jaisalmer Fort today, alongside the carved havelis of its merchant families. Don't miss folk music around a desert camp.

11. Day 11 — Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

    After breakfast, you'll be driven to Jodhpur, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Jodhpur's old town spreads out in a wash of indigo-blue houses below Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest and best-preserved forts, still ruling the skyline from its sandstone cliff. Don't miss Mehrangarh Fort's ramparts and museum.

12. Day 12 — Jodhpur to Deogarh

    This morning you'll transfer on to Deogarh. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Spend the day taking in Deogarh at an easy, unhurried pace.

13. Day 13 — Deogarh to Udaipur

    After breakfast, you'll be driven to Udaipur, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Built around Lake Pichola with the Aravalli hills as a backdrop, Udaipur is Rajasthan's most romantic city -- white palaces, lakeside havelis and narrow bazaars stacked with miniature art. Don't miss a boat ride on Lake Pichola.

14. Day 14 — Delhi · Departure

    This is the final day of your trip. After breakfast, transfer on to Delhi for your onward departure.
