Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi
Delhi greets you on landing. After a smooth transfer to your hotel and check-in, take the rest of the day easy before sightseeing begins tomorrow. India's capital layers Mughal-era monuments, colonial-era boulevards and a fast-moving modern city into one sprawling metropolis. A day here moves between the walled lanes of Old Delhi and the wide avenues of New Delhi. Don't miss India Gate and the President's House.

Day 2 — Delhi
There's more of Delhi to see today: a cycle-rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk.

Day 3 — Delhi to Jaipur
After breakfast, drive on to Jaipur. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Rajasthan's capital is known for its rose-pink old city walls, its hilltop forts and a royal history that's still visible in its palaces and bazaars. Don't miss an elephant or jeep ride up to Amber Fort.

Another day around Jaipur, with time for City Palace and Jantar Mantar observatory.

Day 5 — Jaipur to Agra
This morning you'll transfer on to Agra. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Agra's skyline is built around the Taj Mahal, the white-marble mausoleum Shah Jahan built for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, but the city's Mughal history runs deeper across its fort and tomb complexes. Don't miss sunrise or sunset at the Taj Mahal.

Today brings more time in Agra -- Agra Fort's palaces and courtyards.

Day 7 — Agra to Leh-Ladakh
This morning you'll transfer on to Leh-Ladakh. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Ladakh's stark, high-altitude desert landscape -- framed by the Karakoram and Himalaya ranges -- is dotted with centuries-old Buddhist monasteries and turquoise high-altitude lakes, quite unlike anywhere else in India. Don't miss Leh Palace and the old town.

Day 9 — Leh-Ladakh to Khardung La
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Khardung La, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Khardung La crosses the Ladakh range at over 5,300 metres, the gateway between Leh and the Nubra Valley and one of the highest roads a vehicle can drive in the world. Don't miss the pass viewpoint and prayer flags.

Day 10 — Khardung La to Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive on to Nubra Valley. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Reached over Khardung La, Nubra Valley's sand dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels feel closer to Central Asia than the rest of India, framed by the Karakoram range. Don't miss a Bactrian camel ride on the sand dunes.

Day 11 — Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso
This morning you'll transfer on to Pangong Tso. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Stretching from India into Tibet at over 4,300 metres, Pangong Tso's water shifts through shades of blue and turquoise over the course of a day -- one of Ladakh's most photographed landscapes. Don't miss the lakeshore viewpoints.

Day 12 — Delhi · Departure
Your tour comes to an end today. After breakfast, you'll be driven to Delhi, with a stop or two along the way as the route allows, in time for your onward flight or journey home.
