Detailed Itinerary

1. Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi

   Delhi greets you on landing. After a smooth transfer to your hotel and check-in, take the rest of the day easy before sightseeing begins tomorrow. India's capital layers Mughal-era monuments, colonial-era boulevards and a fast-moving modern city into one sprawling metropolis. A day here moves between the walled lanes of Old Delhi and the wide avenues of New Delhi. Don't miss India Gate and the President's House.

2. Day 2 — Delhi

   There's more of Delhi to see today: a cycle-rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk.

3. Day 3 — Delhi to Mandawa

   After breakfast, you'll be driven to Mandawa, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Mandawa is the best-known town of the Shekhawati region, where merchant families once competed to paint their havelis with elaborate frescoes -- turning the whole town into something close to an open-air gallery. Don't miss painted haveli facades in the old town.

4. Day 4 — Mandawa

   Another day around Mandawa, with time for Mandawa Fort.

5. Day 5 — Mandawa to Bikaner

   After breakfast, you'll be driven to Bikaner, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. A quieter desert city than its Rajasthani neighbours, Bikaner centres on Junagarh Fort -- notable for surviving intact without ever being conquered -- and its camel-breeding traditions. Don't miss the camel research farm.

6. Day 6 — Bikaner

   Another day around Bikaner, with time for Junagarh Fort's painted chambers.

7. Day 7 — Bikaner to Jaisalmer

   After breakfast, you'll be driven to Jaisalmer, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Rising out of the Thar Desert in honey-coloured sandstone, Jaisalmer is built around a living fort -- homes, shops and temples still occupy Jaisalmer Fort today, alongside the carved havelis of its merchant families. Don't miss folk music around a desert camp.

8. Day 8 — Jaisalmer

9. Day 9 — Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

   After breakfast, you'll be driven to Jodhpur, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Jodhpur's old town spreads out in a wash of indigo-blue houses below Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest and best-preserved forts, still ruling the skyline from its sandstone cliff. Don't miss Mehrangarh Fort's ramparts and museum.

10. Day 10 — Jodhpur to Udaipur

    After breakfast, drive on to Udaipur. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Built around Lake Pichola with the Aravalli hills as a backdrop, Udaipur is Rajasthan's most romantic city -- white palaces, lakeside havelis and narrow bazaars stacked with miniature art. Don't miss sunset from a rooftop café.

11. Day 11 — Udaipur to Pushkar

    After breakfast, you'll be driven to Pushkar, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. A small, holy town built around Pushkar Lake, said to have one of the few Brahma temples in the world, with ghats, temples and a lively bazaar wrapped around its water. Don't miss the camel and cattle fair grounds.

12. Day 12 — Pushkar to Jaipur

    This morning you'll transfer on to Jaipur. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Rajasthan's capital is known for its rose-pink old city walls, its hilltop forts and a royal history that's still visible in its palaces and bazaars. Don't miss the bangle and textile markets of the old city.

13. Day 13 — Jaipur to Agra

    After breakfast, drive on to Agra. On arrival, check in and take some time to settle in before the day's sightseeing. Agra's skyline is built around the Taj Mahal, the white-marble mausoleum Shah Jahan built for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, but the city's Mughal history runs deeper across its fort and tomb complexes. Don't miss the marble-inlay workshops near the fort.

14. Day 14 — Delhi · Departure

    This is the final day of your trip. After breakfast, transfer on to Delhi for your onward departure.
