Day 1 — Arrival in Darjeeling
Darjeeling greets you on landing. After a smooth transfer to your hotel and check-in, take the rest of the day easy before sightseeing begins tomorrow. Darjeeling's steep hillsides are lined with the tea gardens that gave the region its name, and on a clear day the Tiger Hill viewpoint opens up to Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest peak. Don't miss the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (toy train).

Another day around Darjeeling, with time for sunrise over Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill.

Day 4 — Darjeeling to Gangtok
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Gangtok, with stops along the way as the route allows. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring nearby. Sikkim's capital is stacked up a ridge with Kanchenjunga views on clear days, monasteries on the surrounding hills, and a cable car linking the upper and lower town. Don't miss Rumtek Monastery, nearby.

Day 6 — Gangtok to Darjeeling
This morning you'll transfer on to Darjeeling. Once you've checked in, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at an easy pace. Darjeeling's steep hillsides are lined with the tea gardens that gave the region its name, and on a clear day the Tiger Hill viewpoint opens up to Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest peak. Today brings more time in Darjeeling -- sunrise over Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill. Your tour comes to an end today. After breakfast, you'll be transferred out in time for your onward flight or journey home.
